Croatia comprises a part of Pannonian Plain in the east, mountain ranges in the middle and the coast of Adriatic Sea in the south and west.

4,437,460; most of the population are Croats; largest minorities are Serbs, Bosnians, Slovenians, Hungarians, Czechs, Italians and Albanians.
